Kai and the gang from DigitalRevTV are back at it, this time with a hands-on review of the new Fujifilm X-E1. Kai puts the camera through it’s paces while goofing around with a guy in a Super Mario suit. The X-E1 looks to be an impressive offering from Fuji, incorporating many of the same features as the X-Pro1, but at a much lower price. The X-E1 lacks it’s bigger brother’s hybrid viewfinder (an optical / electronic viewfinder combo), but it does pick up a mic input. From what we’ve seen, the biggest weakness of the X-E1 is in autofocus speed, so this probably wouldn’t be our first choice for video shooters. But the picture quality… Oh, my! This bad boy produces beautiful photos, just like the X-Pro1 does.
